He brought them out of the darkness and broke away their chains~Psalm 107:14

The Lord has given you a beautiful light & granted you freedom, HOW WILL YOU CHOOSE TO USE IT?

I spent many years trying to make sense of the challenges I faced and the heartache I endured as well as that of others I was close to.  I always tried to remain positive and rest my faith upon the Lord. Although honestly for a long time I felt lost. After the loss of my late husband and both parents, my financial struggles amongst many other things, it was far to easy for me to slip into a victim mentality. I felt as if I was existing and not really living. Weighed down by burdens and sorrow I dealt with in solitude while I showed the world my smile each day. I think back and realize how much time I wasted. My challenges afforded me a great understanding  and knowledge about situations I would not wish upon my worst enemy. They made me a resource, a beacon of hope, proof that people can persevere in the face of great challenges.  How many more people I could have reached, how many more lives I could have made lighter and easier if only I had found my way back to myself sooner.  People who found themselves in similar situations, with similar burdens that I could have reached out to. I'm thankful for how far I have come, I am thankful for the growth I experienced and the amazing love I was blessed with along the way. I am thrilIed that I made a decision to focus all of my energy on helping others find themselves, reclaim their happiness and reach for their goals. Life is to short to be anything other than happy! I  can't express the deep satisfaction of watching another soul shift. The amazing feeling of knowing that they will burn brighter, live happier and have a positive impact on everyone they encounter ongoing as a result of their growth.

We are all called to acknowledge the freedom we have been given, to put down our burdens and be a light for those around us.
