Control Your Thoughts, Control Your Life

Thoughts create feelings, feelings determine actions, actions shape results. CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS, CONTROL YOUR LIFE. 

I invite you to really be cognizant of your thoughts for one full day. As you acknowledge the thought decide if it is a positive fruitful thought or if it is negative and hurtful to yourself or others. Each thought that you do not deem positive take a moment to redirect yourself and reframe the thought in a more positive light. For instance you find yourself worrying about if you will have enough money to pay all of your bills for the month. You are in essence projecting into your future with a negative outlook. Finding all the reasons things could go wrong.  Stop yourself and instead decide to project into your future in a positive light. Think of all the ways things could go right and see yourself easily covering all of your expenses. As your thoughts shift ,your emotions will as well and you will feel the unnecessary burden relieved.  Over the course of the day each time you begin to think a negative thought find the positive in the situation or find something else to be grateful for in your life.  

Journal how your day went. Reflect on previous days and determine how this day felt compared to others you have experienced recently. Did you find value in your efforts for the day?
