Let me give you an example of how this process works. “I have a huge test tomorrow that I am terrified about! I’m afraid I’ll forget the dates, I’m afraid I won’t be able to complete it in the allotted time and I’m afraid I’ll fail and it will have a very negative effect on my overall grade. “
All this worry is certainly not good for me and is putting the wrong energy into the Universe regarding this test. So instead of creating more negative energy around it I will spend three minutes changing my focus around the topic so that I am a match for the success I seek. I set my timer for three minutes (I will continue to elaborate on the positive path of this topic until the time expires), and I begin. “I studied really hard for this test. I made a point to focus on the dates and commit them to memory. I arrived for the test feeling prepared and ready to go. I had plenty of time to complete it during class. The test was so much easier than I had imagined. I knew every answer without hesitation and know that I aced it! It feels amazing! My grade in this class is going to be fantastic! “
Okay now it’s your turn. Let’s dump the negative energy and get your positive vibes going! Decide on your topic and set your timer for at least three minutes. Speak out loud or write down all the ways that this issue will resolve itself to your benefit.
